Love Lost

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen (Hebrews 11.1)

Without hope,
which can envision blessings yet unseen,
there can be no faith,
which thrives on its certainty of the reality of dreams.
And without hope and faith, love, ever lost, cannot be found.

  1. Thank you Paul! Hope and faith have gotten me through many things throughout my life, but I don’t think it occurred to me that I needed both of those things in order to love! I’ll be thinking on that on my drive back to MD later today!

    Much love!

  2. Truth to tell, Loretta, it hadn’t occurred to me that hope and faith are essential in order to love, that is, until it occurred to me. And, as I think and re-think it, I do not know how or why it occurred to me. I only know that it did.

    Love you
