Subtitle: On Aging
Sub-subtitle: My ultimate post of this soon-to-pass year
Turning the figurative and literal page of a new year, I contemplate aging; which, among many things, involves an inexorable series of losses.
Nevertheless, as I daily seek, discover, and trust in my gains (chiefly, wisdom), I am, as a flower, opening to the sun’s rise, responsive to every dawn’s opportunity.

Endnote: As one who strives always to define his terms, by wisdom, I mean the possession of knowledge about life (data, details, information) and, more importantly, an understanding of life (how to apply the knowledge in concrete, kaleidoscopically every-changing circumstances).
